Joanna Henly, AKA Miss Led who is an established artist, illustrator and art director based in East London joined Mike on a video chat to discuss her beginning’s as an artist and the many roads her career as an artist has taken her.
This was an inspiring conversation and one that covered her entire career up until the release of her 2 most recent books.
Pocket Art: Portrait Drawing: The Quick Guide to Mastering Technique and Style –
For artists the message is important to get out there and meet as many people as you can, and try to showcase your artwork in as many places as you can, as you never know how a connection you make can grow. It’s also imperative to have a strong support system and don’t just isolate yourself while you create. Sometimes you have to do the stuff you don’t want to do to get to where you want to be.
The books are beautiful and are a great distillation of Joanna’s talents in the world of art.
